OK so I missed Brown's PLME program application. Can I still study premed there and apply for Brown's medical school?? So when you go to a college's premed, what are the chances of you getting accepted to that college's medical school?
I am talking of schools like johns hopkins, brown, yale, emory, and duke.
btw I just got accepted to Bowdoin, would it be a good choice for premed???

hm not such an interesting question afterall :(

Give it more than 15 minutes at midnight on the weekend ;)

Yes, you can still apply to Browns medical school, though it is quite hard to get in because it is small and takes a lot of its students from BS/MD. There is no statistical value for the increase in chances, but typically attending a undergrad gives you the opportunity to make yourself competitive for your undergrad’s medical school. Research with physicians familiar to the adcom (or on it), etc. Honestly though, at the schools that you have listed (all of which are extremely difficult to get into), there are such large pre-med populations at a given school that there probably isn’t much of an advantage. Some might argue it can be a disadvantage. Bowdoin is fine if you like the LAC feel.

PLME and Brown’s application are due at the same time because the PLME questions are on the Brown supplement. Did you do the supplement and just not submit the PLME questions?

no schrizto i didn’t :(. I feel like everything has really come to an end. This sucks. And now there is absolutely no way I can actually transfer to PLME or switch to it once i am accepted to Brown. Things aren’t looking too great at the moment.

What are you talking about? You can go to school anywhere and get into med school anywhere, so long as you do well. I’m not sure where this doom and gloom attitude of yours is coming from?

Even if you did apply to PLME, chances of getting into that program are very slim. And why are you asking about this now? Brown’s app was due back on Jan 1st or something.
