preparation problems

I'm having a bit of problem right now.So I started preparing for the SAT two weeks ago using the Princeton review and recently I bought Barron's and now Barron's is overwhelming me and I'm slightly conflicted as to which book i should use more? Also I haven't done a single practice test and the exam is on June 7(a month away)

Barron’s is harder than the real test. PR is way easier. I would say go for Kaplan or IES.

Do you have the blue book? It’s the one made by the college board & is the only prep book made by them. (& has 10 practice SATs!)

By “overwhelmed,” do you mean the difficulty with the questions, or do you mean information overload?

For practice questions, use CB’s blue book as brixx21 suggested. I do not recommend them for strategies, however. I would pick which strategies work and focus on those. You are probably overwhelmed because you don’t need to know where to start.

Here is where to start: Go to CB’s website and download, and print out (if possible), their official practice test (it’s free). Take it, under test conditions (set aside about four hours). You need to do that this weekend if you seriously want to prepare. This will help you know what areas you need to spend more time on when you study. Use your prep books to help you fix your problem areas.
