prerequisites question

So here's the backstory: My main choice of college is UCSD. I want to transfer as a Psychology B.S. student and take advantage of their programs such as the honors program and integrated B.S./M.A. program. I think that those would really be beneficial for me as I am also a premed, although I might not go to med school right after undergrad, but that's another story.

Anyway, so my dilemma is that even if UCSD seems like a perfect school for me (I've heard bad things, but I still think it's pretty cool). I am also thinking of other, more prestigious schools such as Berkeley and LA. Both have an even better program and both are just darn awesome. I kinda have the grades for both (3.7) and I have internship stuff and also a good idea for an essay. The only thing I don't have are the prerequisites. And if you look at all three college's prerequisites, they are all so different. That means I have to take a bunch of classes that are only good for one of those schools.

So my question is: *should I even bother doing the prerequisites for Berkeley and LA especially since the completion of those prerequisites are a big factor in acceptance? *
As of now, I'm pretty sure that I really want to go to UCSD. BUT, if I get accepted to either Berk or LA, I might have to second guess that decision....

Thanks for reading and I appreciate the comments (if any)!

hey dude…i dont know if you know this but to get into the bs/md program at ucsd, you literally have to be like harvard material… they only pick like 30 or so people and many of them give up acceptances from Ivies to attend there… but ya, your chances at UCSD are pretty damn safe. Just do tag and you’re in.

For UCLA and UC Berkeley, you pretty much need to have all your pre-req’s completed to get in, especially as a psychology major. good luck!

Thanks for the input! but… i was talking about the bs/mA program for psychology… not the medicine degree.

ahhh… i see haha dont no anything at all about that… ya just get that GPA up to 3.8 and your safe.
