How quickly does Pace respond to prescreens?
has anyone heard from FSU?
@musicalkid98 , Pace responded very quickly - within a few days, if I recall
So far we have 4 invites to audition. The first came from Pace (less than a day) followed by Penn, Ithaca and then last night from Otterbein (sent at midnight!) We are still waiting on Michigan which we didn’t send until Sunday night since they surprised us with that request for the optional video on “Why Michigan?” when we were uploading her prescreens.
Michigan requested that “Why” vid last year, too. It’s optional… but it’s Michigan, so it’s not really optional. LOL…
Everyone else seems to hear from Pace within a day or 2 but its been 6 days and I still haven’t heard anything…
I think they say right on the website how many days it will take them to respond - I thought it was 5. Take a look.
And we finally heard from my d’s last one today: Michigan. A yes.
Congrats 4gsmom, that’s the last prescreen we are waiting on. We sent it out after the others on Sunday night. How long did it take for them to get back to you?
Quite a while - we sent it out at the end of October.
How quickly does Syracuse tend to respond? Has anyone heard recently?
Is anyone else happy to have a break from having to check email a thousand times today looking for prescreen results? I figure no notifications are going out today! Happy Thanksgiving all!!!

I was reminded of this thread when talking to a friend who is a music director and professor recently. We were discussing prescreens and he told me about receiving one from a young woman who was lip-syncing to a recording of her voice that had clearly been altered/auto-tuned. Why anyone would do that is beyond me.

@MTmomma and @musicalkid98 My daughter submitted Syracuse on 10/31 and they replied on Nov. 11. I bet the holiday weekend could add several days if not a week to turnaround, so hopefully you’ll hear after the weekend!
how quickly does Texas State reply?
I don’t normally share my acceptances on here, but I’m too exciting not to because I just got my last yes from Florida State and I’m so excited:)

@musicalkid98 Texas State is usually pretty quick. The are getting close to finals now so that may slow them down but usually I would think they would respond to your prescreen with a yes or no in no more than 2 weeks.
