Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC) -- Thoughts/info/reviews?

Anyone have any information on Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC? Any reviews or comments/thoughts? Considering applying here and wondering if any of you parents have been with your child to tour this school or know anything about it.

Thanks!

I know several folks who have looked at and attended PC, and we visited a couple of years back. It’s really a college on the move. They’ve recently moved to DI athletics and renovated their student center with a great fitness area. They have also announced they’ll be opening a School of Pharmacy (Pharm.D program) fall of 2010. They’ve always had a strong science program and high acceptance rates into professional and graduate programs. They seem to have a very tight knit campus where students and faculty form lifelong relationships in some cases. Service is a big deal on that campus. I would encourage you to visit. It looks like a college campus should look–tall oak trees, columned buildings, etc. They’ve certainly moved up in prestige and are now more in the same league with a Sewanee or a Rhodes and certainly with Furman and Wofford. The atmosphere at PC is really neat–you have to visit to experience it.

Arose-- thanks for your response. I have visited the campus (Open House) and I really liked it. I wanted to see some other opinions on it, though. It really does seem like they are moving on up, in both facilities/programs and prestige.

Anyone else have experiences/comments/opinions on PC? I’m certainly looking for them.
