Hi,
I recently was admitted based off initial review and was offered this Presidential Scholarship "valued at $60,000."

The letter talks about how in order to maintain the possibility of recieving the scholarship you must either attend The Presidential Scholars Day on February 16, or have an interview. I already had an interview, but would be willing to do another (apparently with the same person) in order to stay eligible.

Just wondering if anyone found out any info on this particular scholarship and what you need to do to get it.

$60,000 is a lot of money. Don't risk is it over relying on advise on an anonymous forum!!! Call Admissions -- they are the only ones you should be relying on for this type of information!!

First off, congratulations on your acceptance to Clark and being offered the Presidential Scholarship. :)

At this same time last year, my daughter received a similar "early review" acceptance from Clark, along with the Presidential Scholarship. Like you, she had already had an on-campus interview prior to her acceptance. She wasn't able to make it to Scholars Day, but was told that she would still be eligible for the scholarship because she had interviewed on campus already. Sure enough, the Presidential scholarship was included in her formal acceptance package that she received in late March. While she didn't end up enrolling at Clark, I was still impressed with the school, itself, and the Presidential Scholarship, which--if I'm not mistaken--is $60K over four years, is quite generous. Like iamhere mentioned, it would probably be a good idea to call Clark's admissions office and confirm your eligibility for the Pres. Scholarship, whether or not you are able to attend Scholars Day.

It should say on your letter if you need to have another interview or not. If not, it will say directly that your previous interview will be enough.

Daughter was offered a Traina scholarship last year (didn't end up at Clark) and had to attend a special day for all Traina candidates for special tours, speakers, and an interview.
