Traina Scholarship? Clark University

Hello. My daughter received a letter from Clark University saying that she is eligible for the $18,000 per year Traina Scholarship and must attend an on-campus interview on Saturday, Feb. 23. She must check in at 8:30 am. and attend special programs until 3pm. The interview occurs at some point during the day.

Does anyone know what the "programs" are?

Are parents expected to attend as well?

What are her chances of actually receiving the scholarship after she attends this session?

Thanks for your help!

There's been a fair amount of discussion of the Traina and other Presidential-level merit scholarships on the Clark Board in past years. The thread from 2005, in particular, has some good reports from students who attended the Presidential Scholarships Day.
