What is the academic requirement to maintain the presidential scholarship?

You must maintain at least a 3.5 gpa for all four years. (I’m not sure whether they check by semester or by year, but it’s best to err on the side of caution.)

Actually the letter (for students entering Fall 2010) says you must maintain a 3.25 each year you are enrolled.

Really? Hm, mine for last year said 3.5.

Can anyone tell me what the requirements are to receive a Presidential Scholarship?

And though its a bit off topic (not trying to hijack your topic), but have all Presidential Scholarships and Carr Scholarships already been decided/sent out?

Rutgers does not have anything in writing as to what is specifically needed to get a Presidential Scholarship but based upon people on these boards who got one it seems as if you have to have at least 2200 on the SATs (close to 1500 on R/M) and be at the top of your class. I also think you need to be in state.

It seems as if people started receiving them at the end of December through mid January. Nobody has posted about receiving one lately. Whats also interesting is I don’t think anyone has received anything other than a Presidential yet, whereas last year people were receiving partial scholarships.

Agreed… they also make no mention of any partial scholarships for first-year students on the website. This makes me very nervous…
