Reading through previous threads, transferring without submitting another formal application to an institution that previously accepted an applicant is a recommended idea. Already applied and accepted, applying again - #4 by happymomof1? Is it commonly done? Would it be appropriate to ask admissions office about it? It does sound like an exception, but since they did previously accept a student, it would be easier and less costly to “reactivate” the application if the field of study is the same.
Another quote.
It doesn’t hurt to try. Call the admissions office at the school and see what they say.
