Previously accepted transfer student to NYU

Hello!

So, NYU accepted me last year when I was applying to college but I ended up going to another school instead because NYC really intimidated me.

Anyway, long story short, I think I made the wrong decision and I really want to go to NYU.

I just submitted my transfer application today, but someone pointed out to me that because they had already accepted me once and I didn't go, that they probably wouldn't accept me again.

Do you think this is true? Should I be worried?

If anyone knows anything that would help I would really appreciated.

As long as you showed interest in NYU, there’s no reason why they wouldn’t accept you again.

Just remember:

(1) It’s harder to get in as a transfer than as a freshmen

(2) Your FA package will be very low, as transfers get very little money typically.
