Should I retake a 2240 (800 M, 730 CR, 710 W)? My intended major is economics or math?

@ tigerton

yeah, I’m planning on giving up an ED at my legacy for a shot at this. Good luck, man!

if you feel that you didn’t study enough, and are capable of a better score with practice, then yeah, why not? But if you did reach your ‘peak’, then it would be futile. A friend of mine got 2190 in her first attempt, and only puller her score up by 20 points in the second. So you should keep that in mind that’s its possible to do worse as well.

Well the supplement was finally released.

Thanks for the info.

Well guys, despite what I said on the first page of the thread, it looks like I’ll be joining the lot of you after all Best of luck to everyone!

I will be applying… I think :)

I’m applying.

This might be a somewhat of a non-sensical question since Princeton only has RD, but are any of you applying ED anywhere? :)

^I’m doing Yale SCEA. Too afraid to do anything binding…

Yale SCEA for me

^ And for me as well.

MIT and BC EA.

So, no one’s applying ED?

I think I might go down the SCEA path too.

There is no ED at Princeton.

^ He knows.

Oh, gotcha. He meant ED anywhere.

EDing Columbia. If I’m deferred/rejected I’ll probably be applying to Princeton though.

Stanford SCEA. But my first-choice, dream school is still Princeton. But I have a feeling I’m going to get neither, sigh. No harm in trying though, people get lucky. My high school had 8 admits to Princeton last cycle, and we’re international (i.e. not in USA).

I have a friend at Princeton. Not sure if I were to describe him as “cold and snobby” but he’s just ridiculously smart—so perhaps he does have an air of (over)confidence.

But regardless, I’m applying. :)
