Your perfect SAT score is going to help you.
However, Princeton and Stanford are highly competitive colleges. Is there a specific major you are thinking about? Colleges like Stanford want students who are focused and show that they are passionate about something.
And what do you think of your essay writing abilities?

My essay writing abilities are pretty good. Always do a great job on writing assignments at school.
And i’m not sure about my class rank. From my school, there is a 98% college acceptance and there are 1900 students in my graduating class.
I’m interested in the medical field. Becoming a surgeon. :)

I have trouble believing that 1,900 are in your class!

From what you’ve supplied, there is nothing other than your SAT score that differentiates you from the many other academically qualified applicants. Any SAT score (even a perfect) is not enough to compensate for any great weaknesses in your application if you want acceptance to Stanford or Harvard.

Unfortunately, I’d say your chances are very slim.

Show your personality in your essays. It’s the only time you can communicate directly to the admissions officers (unless you interview with one). Good essays and letters of recommendation are very important! I don’t agree that your chances are very slim. If you are a good person and convey that in your essays/interview/recs, you will get in.

Yeah, everyone says that. Theres 1900 in my grad. class and appx. 5000 in the whole school. :D

I’m not sure if it’s still accurate but it says that Stanford av. GPA rate is 92 on my school’s college search website.

If I can achieve a little higher, 3.7 GPA (appx. 94). Could that guarantee my chances in getting in? And other than my GPA, what am I missing that I should do to improve my chances in being admitted.

And how would I ask for an interview, Do I ask for one in my essay?
