Princeton and the Performing Arts

I read in a article that Princeton is looking to recruit more applicants interested in the performing arts. Is this true? If so, how "interested" must applicants be? Also, how likely is the situation going to change in the next two years? Thanks.

this quote?:

"We hope to dramatically increase, dramatically increase, the number of students who are involved in the creative and performing arts," [Princeton University VP & Secretary Robert Durkee] said.

it's true, and the effort has actually been underway for a few years now, under the (then) new president and new dean of admission.
