*Please, Please can you suggest other ways I can make my summer productive since this gives me a lot of time to spend on things I really like. Also, how important is it having a job? I really want a job, but its so hard to find jobs that tie in my interests in this area. Can you please suggest some, and whether or not you think a job is important. (I have designed for sale, by working at home various designs for tshirts, etc through CaféPress) Any other ideas for Social Activism?

I am a minority. (Indian) (I know it won’t make a difference since so many Asians apply.)

If you read this far, thank you so much. That is all I can say. =]

You're the president AND vice president of your diversity club?

I'd say Princeton is a possible reality! :) It's hard to tell with admissions so tough, but you've definitely got a chance, which is more than many can say.

Only question--are you going to take the SAT a second time (not sure you need to, but it probably wouldn't do any harm) and how did your SAT IIs go (or have you not taken them yet?)? (Just something to think about.)

Your summer looks quite busy already--make sure you take some free time too! Senior year is/can be stressful, so make sure you're ready for the fall! :)

noo. lol.
i was vice president junior year, and then towards the end of this year i was just elected President for the end of this year and the following year.

Yea, I haven't taken the SAT II's yet. I am soon though. I am studying and preparing for them on and off. I think I should be pretty good on those.

Yes, I will take the SATs one more time. But if there is any weakness I hold its the SATs, I am just not one of those brilliant aptitude test takers. Like my score is quite good, but I think I got lucky. I mean my PSAT scores did not reflect this score at all. I probably will never be a kid who can just pull off a 2400, but i'm trying. lol thanks again for your advice.

How do you have a 4.05 unweighted GPA? You'd have to be on a 5 point scale, and then 4.05 is not impressive....

no, i'm not on a 5.0 scale. our school gives 4.3 for A+'s. Every single course we take is honors, nothing is taught at the regular level. That is why there is a slight boost, even though it is still unweighted. Not that I am taking honors this year, every course I am taking is AP.
