Oh, i was just joking around with everyone. I actually do have homework (but it's the kind that can be done in other classes, you know?)

funny, zant :)
I haven't gotten IMed once (though I'm sort of glad of it, to be honest).

And I love that 60 second rule...45 would make more sense (or maybe 30? please?).

yeah, in my state it's 220. Too high for comfort.

I prefer PC's and I'm getting a new laptop for college.

gracilisae, I never thought you were vain. I have an incredible amount of pictures of myself because I send them to legendofmax, lol.

heyy we can start deciphering the enigma that is encomium by figuring out what state has 220 as a cutoff.

same here, gracilisae. I might switch to mac, but I dunno. It's just that everyone who has a mac seems to love it and Microsoft keeps shutting down programs (notably MS word...too many hours of work lost...).

dammit! I mean 217

Oh and you all:

You absolutely must get a Mac. They are the best creations ever. I used to be totally pro-PC. Till I got a Mac. Now I will never go back.

Right garc. Is agalea(sp.) your real name? Or what does it mean? Now you look rich.

oh i know, what's up with that. Word has problems almost every time I use it. And I must admit Macs are prettier and smaller generally but it's hard to change what you're used to.

Kebree, maybe nobody has IMed you because you're sn is not posted?

EncomiumII don't lie! :) Its 220.

About Ashcroft, yeah, I did see that...that's good though; he was way too controversial.

haha, yeah, I get it now...I thought zant was talking about the "private message" thing.

No zante-it's incredibly easy to change. I had a PC. It kept on breaking on me and getting spyware for 2 years. I bought a Mac. Now I use it. (Although I admit, switching from Mac to PC would be like moving from the United States to England...at first they seem pretty much the same, then you realize England's backwards and weird.)

lol maybe, maybe.
what kind do you have?

England is not backward and weird. It only seems so to foreigners, i.e. Americans.

What is backwards and weird about mac, in case i get one? Is it mainly little things like keyboard shortcuts?

I think encomium was referring to the british driving on the left side of the road, having different spelling, etc. =)

No gianievve. My dad is from England (born and raised there). So I'm allowed to say this.

No kebree-it's PCs that are backwards and weird!

I have a g4.

oh encomium, you forgot about the anglophiles here!

Yeah I'm pretty glad Ashcroft's out of there.

I use MAC sometimes during the summer for newspaper design courses, and I HATE them. I know they're supposed to be spectacular but the classes usually end before the adjusting phase is over. What do you like specifically about Macs, Encomium?

My real name is Kat - aglaeia is just my livejournal user name; I should probably have asked Abbi (my best friend) to put my real name but oh well. And let me rid you of the notion that I'm rich, by all means, I'm just particularly good at scouring the Polo outlet.

Even 217 is really harsh.

Wow Zant 3 more!! I'm so glad I'm here to witness this. "Mwah, mwah!" (clasps hands excitedly!)

The one thing I love most about Macs is that they don't crash or get viruses. I would have so many problems on my PC because of how horribly designed XP was and how open it was to things being downloaded inadvertantly. Our credit card number was stolen once. I also love its interface. It's so easy, smooth, and logical. It is much more intuitive than a Pc. Plus, it's beautiful and stylish.
