Great essays, great recommendations.
Long list of EC's.
Highest GPA in the whole county by minority student.
play sports, music.
I sent writing samples, won essay contest.
I applied ED, I know more Mexicans will still apply, but I believe I have a fair shot for one. Please evaluate. Thank you.

Why dont you post your ECs too. Which sports/what instrument? That will help. :) I'll go add you to the princeton ED roster if you're not on the list already.

why don't you wait another 10 days for a real evaluation? =)

greetings fellow mexican!

you and i have VERY similar stats--look my chances board to see for yourself (its probably the longest one on the princeton forum...some poeple get ornery b/c i bump it all the time, lol). i think you have a decent chance, but (as randomgr so graciously pointed out) you might as well wait two weeks and see for yourself.

hang strong, paysano
zz3

I think you have a fine chance.

hey paisano, where are your stats, i couldnt find them.

i believe the post is called "chances for hispanic for princeton" or something of the like. its somewhere in this "princeton" forum...try a search for "hispanic" and "princeton"

hey paisano. you put mexican american male. does that mean you were born in the US or are your parents from here or what? if you were born in mexico, when did you come to the US? I came here when i was 9 years old. hope to hear from you paisano

yeah, i was born in texas. both my parents came to the US in the 80's to study with grants. ergo, i am officially "mexican american" but since i maintain pure mexican culture (and speak pure spanish--not spnaglish--at home), i tend to consider myself mexican rather than american.

why would I want to be a little gringo anyways?

Asi se habla manito

cmon people tell me what you think. i know we have 10 days left but still.
