I bet I had some mistakes...I submitted mine at 11:46 on 11/1 after a full day of work.

Haha, I'll bet that was nerve-wracking...

damn cutting it close huh?

Yea, I'm a major procrastinator. I skipped school yesterday to do my Rice app, which I had not started beforehand!

Whoa we got a snow day today! WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YEAH! Time to sleep.

Alaskaaa. Damn I wish I could live there. I WANT SNOWWWW

White. Flakesss.

kebree, cavalier: i did the same thing! whoa!

three days ago, i reviewed the copy of my app;) and i really enjoyed two of the essays (including the big one, which i'd like to think brings out the best in me, although it was written in 2 days: 10/30&31) ... the other one got on my nerves, it's too "i'm such a fighter, i'll end world famine and run 100m in less than a blink, if i want to..."...

but all in all i was much more impressed than i thought i'd be... and, as you said kebree, i feel that if they don't accept me, then it's their fault... mha! crosses arms on chest and makes displeased-kid face

has a spasm and dies

<for the="" snow,="" not="" displeased="" kid=""></for>

that got me over 500. and i'm staying here!!!

hey i saw something! !

no, not snow, unfortunately, although that's gonna come, one day... this year.... hope so...
what i saw is that in the princeton presentation booklet i received with my app, 10 days after i had applied, there is NO picture with winter... why? does pton look bad with snow all around? i doubt that... so what's the reason? did they want to make everything look summer-lively and all? any thoughts?

come to think of it, i havent seen any college that puts a picture of their campus during the winter... perhaps ur right pavalon. They want the campus to seem as a new adventurous and exiting place, bright and sunny.

i think i saw a beautiful winter-gothicbuildings-covered-with-snow picture in the yale booklet, but i'm not sure, as the booklet wasn't mine, i just took a look...

if they do want to make their campuses look like that (exciting place, bright and sunny), they shouldn't forget that there are sunny winter days too! i mean i, and i'm not the only one ahem, astrix, love snow and would fall in love with a snowy-landscape-seen-from-inside-a-comfy-warm-room, any time...

when i see it like this, i think it's in california or italy (not that there is anything wrong with either place, on the contrary)

I KNOWW!! I thought I was the only one who'd think that way. I don't know why Americans like the summer so much more. Most pics are of summers, especially in places where it gets cold!! Very few places for which I have seen winter pics. Princeton too... Look at the front cover of the prospectus. Even tho it's so pretty in the winters!

Yay pavalon! Go us snow-lovers!!

The difference is tho, that you've seen snow and I haven't. Maybe that puts you on a higher pedestral than me, since for me it could be novelty

well, the good thing is that there is winter at pton, and even a beautiful one, i've heard (and you confirm, astrix), so things are not soooo bad... if we can only get there.... aaaaah.... one day... i'll leave this awful city where snow turns to gray in a matter of days...

yay for us, indeed... :)

but i think it's you who have the advantage.. i mean you can't not love it (snow, of course:)), so you'll have a much nicer surprise than me...

on the other hand, after 8-9 months i forget how it feels to be around snow, so it's a new thing every wintertime (yea, i know how that sounds, but it's so true)...

another childish remark (also totally true): i have faded memories from my childhood, but i do remember huge snows... maybe i was smaller?! still, huuuge snows

yes. not just pretty... it's pristine. now the prineton website has just... one pic with snow in it. http://www.princeton.edu/pr/pictures/campus/

i like this pic: http://www.ronsaari.com/stockImages/newJersey/PrincetonPalmerSquareM.php

making assumptions, are we ;) i wish i'm accepted, coz me and a princetonian winter are just meant to be

well yes we aaaare, yes we aaare... hoping that everything will end up in a snowy-nice-large-envelopes-dream...

and beautiful pictures!
i would really put the second image as my wallpaper if it werent for the darn letters RS in the middle... stock images.. should i buy it? should i....?
