<p>The essay prompts probably don't change from year to year and if they do it's very minimally. Especially given the fact that if you don't like one of the quotes they give you, you can also use a quote of your own choosing. I don't know when the '07-'08 prompts come out though, sorry.</p>

<p>To reiterate what abiste said, the prompts aren't really that crucial in writing your essays. I applied to eleven schools (only 3 on the Common App) and used essentially the same group of essays (different pairings for different schools) for all 11 of them. In my opinion, you can write a college essay about absolutely anything that you want and then conform it a bit to fit with a prompt. If you don't want to wait until August when the 2012 application is up, just go ahead and write an essay...you'll be able to find a way to make it fit with whichever prompts Princeton offers.</p>
