I am really concerned about my graded paper for Princeton. I want to use my last year’s research paper for English but I only have the copy I submitted to turnitin.com, which does not have the grade received or teacher comments. I tried to reach out to my teacher but she is not responding since it is the holidays.
Is there any possibility of hurting my chances if I email it to them a few days after the deadline when I contact her ? Or should I just send them the copy I have without the grade or teacher comments ?
You should email right away to the admissions team , I believe that they will allow you a few days extra time for submission of the graded paper . My son had done the same a week back for reasons similar to yours and they did allow ( though we are not using the grace period as the teacher responded ) . You should email right away and explain the reason clearly . Good luck !
This is a tough situation that can only be answered by an AO (and I am not).
Seems like you have 3 options: 1) turn in what you have, 2) wait till you can contact your teacher to send it in, or 3) upload what you have now with a cover note, with a brief apology; an honest, clear, & concise explanation of the situation; and promise to send in another copy after you have contacted your teacher a.s.a.p.
You can also try to contact them on Jan 2.
Do I have to submit one if I am a biology major? Thank you
