I love how you manage to sound enamored with a cubicle, like it's a great romeo and juliet tragic love story now that you had to leave it behind to go back to school

lol i sure do love my cubicle though. I decorated it and everything.

how did you decorate it?

killing the 60 sec limit la de dah de dah

Hahaha. Made it your own, and all. Put up posters. A little fridge, maybe. And colored post-it notes. Lots of colored post-it notes. Ahhh...

a little rubber potted plant :)

lol hahah I wish i had all that

I LOVE colored postit notes!!

I put up pictures of Yale actually, when I was obsessed with it in the summer...ahh I feel like a traitor! Must post up tons of pictures of princeton now, it's more gorgeous anyway.

ya see- yale and princeton really are the same!

I just scheduled my interview today... It's tomorrow evening. I'm meeting him at his house. I unfortunately just realized that I don't have anything appropriate to wear. Oh well, I guess I'll be rocking the sweater/oxford combo with khakis. I so don't do the whole nice-looking thing. I live in polo shirts and jeans. I seriously don't even own a suit.

Should I bring anything?

yes. bring a resume. in case you guys run out of things to talk about. u can start talking about ur activities. its bad if the interview is too short. even if its not your fauly, if its short, you wont get a great report.

My interviewer told me the interview was supposed to be only twenty minutes. Does that seem weird, if it's supposed to be "not short"?

If your interview is less than 20 minutes, then it may be cause for slight panic (on your part). But you know what they say, "A long interview won't get you in, and a short one isn't neccesarily a bad thing." I say: just talk about your passions, speak up, and have something to say about what you love to do. What more can they ask for?

I've heard they generally last an hour but he may just have a busy schedule. You know those successful pton alumni!

Yeah, he sounded as if he was all booked up. When I called him back (I missed his call yesterday) he told me that he had a girl scheduled tonight, and someone Thursday. We orginally schduled it for 8, but then he called back and said that we'd have to move it to 7 because he forgot about another appointment. So, I guess my interview really can't be that long, unless I want to make him late for whatever it is he needs to do.

Don't panic. It kills the flow. Good Luck! :)

What exactly should our resume contain?

I wonder how many alumni Oregon has...

hahah
Must be some in the portland area.

If you don't have a resume already, it doesn't seem worthwhile to make one just for the interview. You don't even know if they'll look at it.
For mine though, I have activities in school, work experience, awards, and other activities.

awkward: the most likely alumni interviewers for my area are my best friend's friend's parents

very awkward. but, look at it this way - you'll have some idea what you're getting into!

sigh I wish someone would call, but alas, it seems as if 'twasn't meant to be. C'est la vie, non?
