Princeton Notification

Dear Student,

Admission decisions for applicants to the Princeton Class of 2015 will be available online on March 30, after 5 p.m. EDT. We also will send decision letters by standard mail to all applicants.

The address for viewing your decision is https://notify.princeton.edu/. You may wish to bookmark this link ahead of time. Be sure to copy and paste the entire link, and note that it begins with https, rather than http.

If you have registered previously to use Princeton's Application Tracking System, you must use that username and password to see your decision.

If you have not yet registered, you must register to use Princeton's Application Tracking System. Due to the large number of students we anticipate visiting the site when it goes live, the registration system will be unavailable from 4 to 6 p.m. EDT on March 30. Accessing your decision online involves a two-part process:

To register, you must have two pieces of information: the e-mail address and PIN you recorded on your Princeton application. You will use the e-mail address and PIN from your application to create a username and password. We recommend that you write down the username and password you create when you register. To register, go to https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/.

To view your decision, you will be required to enter the username and password you created during registration. Please note that your username and password are not the same as your e-mail address and PIN.

To protect the confidentiality of your decision, do not share your username and password with anyone. When you have finished viewing your decision online, be certain to close your browser.

Applicants who did not list an e-mail address and PIN on the application will need to wait for their decisions to arrive by standard mail. They may also call our office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EDT beginning April 4.

Thank you for applying to Princeton.

Sincerely,
Princeton Admission Office

■■■ ididnt get the email. did anyone else who applied not get the email either?

So Did/will everyone

Everyone will get one, it means nothing

thats if they recieved all ure materials… im afraid something bad happened. did anyone else NOT get one

^haven’t gotten one yet either

I didn’t get one but when I check my status it says that my app is complete. Plus I got an email after applying saying they had everything.

maybe all the auto-dings get it first.

I got one.
I saw it in my mailbox and thought it was a decision (lol irrational-I know) I almost had a heart attack.
I hope I get in.

auto-dings?

auto-ding as in, they take a look at the first page of your application, have a brief chuckle, and put your file in the big box under the table.

its possible that those who didnt get emails already registered with them.

@philikikool: I received the email even though I have already registered. They send out the emails in batches. Moreover, the internet tends to deliver mass emails somewhat arbitrarily (i.e. not every person in the same batch will receive the email at the exact same time either), so I would not stress.

yeah nevermind, I just got it.

I received the Email just a few minutes ago, after constant refreshing (and thinking that meant something that I didn’t get it!) if that helps. I think we all just need to calm down…maybe I can take my own advice March 30?

i haven’t gotten anything…

i just got the letter… o_o

I still haven’t!!! Grr

I got the letter at 6:35 ET.
@IvyHopeful2015: No worries! I’m sure it doesn’t mean anything.

It’s possible that they send out the emails alphabetically to every applicant. The time mine was received was at 3:00 and my last name starts with a “U”
goodluck to everyone! :)
