Does Princeton have online admissions notfications like the other ivies? It somehow doesn't seem like they do. Does anyone know if they do or not?

they have an online app. but that's it.. :)

they have online financial aid forms too :)

well then y cant they email us our decisions

btw sucharita can u take a look at my thread regarding financial aid on this page

I looked at it but I'm not very sure what I'm supposed to say :o Did you get a letter/email from the finaid office?
For the record, I didn't

I didnt get anything and they dont have my parents 2004 taxes so I', interpreting this as an early sign of a rejection

never say never! :)

Frankly, Princeton is not the epitome of efficiency, is it now...also arent the admissions and aid offices supposed to be separate?

Nope, no online notifications (or status checks). I guess it's easier on them.

sempitern,

maybe you didn't get a call/email because your finaid application is complete.
i dont think they've notified anyone about sending in the 2004 tax returns, because everyone's still in the process of completing those. so princeton's probably not in a hurry to collect all the tax returns yet.

however, i did get this email on march 15..

"Our records show that you registered and logged in to the Class of 2009 Princeton Financial Aid Application (PFAA) at some point in the last several months. Although you may have saved information on your PFAA, you did not submit it to Princeton University.

If you still intend to apply for financial aid as a prospective applicant to Princetons Class of 2009, you should finish the PFAA and submit it by clicking on the Send button. The PFAA is available at https://finaidapp.princeton.edu/app/loginFilter.jsp.

It is not necessary to reply to this e-mail if you have decided you will not apply for aid.

Thank you,
