Princeton Review vs. Barrons

Hi, I am a Junior and I am considering retaking the AP World History exam. On last year's test I got a 2, and I solely contribute that low score to the Kaplan prep book. I want to reatke the test but I am stuck between choosing the Princeton Review or the Barrons prep book. From what I have gathered from this forum, Princeton Review for APWH seems to give good information but has HARDER practice tests. Barrons, however, goes more information (as well as trivial information too), but its practice tests are nothing like the AP exam. I have already taken the class, but I want to improve my AP score for my college apps. I truly want to get a five, so should I start now and try to study for it? And if so, should I use the Princeton Review or Barrons?

P.S. if you want to know how well I can write, I have finished AP Language with a 95 in a pretty good course, and made an 11 on the essay portion on my first SAT test.

What a shame, 50+ views, yet no replies. Please someone, answer me.

I do not have actual experience with World History, but I am self-studying AP European History this year. For AP Euro, I believe Princeton Review is the best, and have heard other people say the same for World. So personally I would recommend Princeton Review.

Good Luck!

Princeton Review, and only take it if you’re not taking on too many other AP tests already.
