@MariaScott I went to a summer program abroad, volunteered at a charity NGO and started practicing the violin. I tried to read as much as I can too.
Oh and I worked on my art supplement as well.
When are decisions released for Princeton? Is it Thursday or Friday? I know Penn is Friday…

No official word yet on when they’ll announce. Others have researched past years & say it’s typically on a Monday. So, we could get them as early as Monday, the 14th this year.
I called them and they said it’ll most likely be the 15th or the 16th. It won’t be the week of the 21st. Nothing is confirmed yet though but that’s what I was told.

Does anyone want to post their stats? I just want to see what type of competition I have.
@PorkyPig12 I can’t speak for the admissions officers, but in general it should be assumed that the competition is the best of the best. So many people get rejected with godly GPAs and SATs that what really matters comes down to the transcripts, the essays, and the recommendations. I’d wager it’s pretty darn hard to get a really meaningful assessment of an essay from the person who wrote it, anyone in this thread, or even anyone other than the admissions board (the only assessment that matters).
Hey everyone and @czarpeter . I just called the admissions office and they did not give me such specific information. I asked them when the decisions will be released, they said that we will be getting an email one week prior to the release date and that the date is still around “mid-december”. No specifics on when exactly that is though…
it will all come out in the results thread, that tries to post something useful for future go-getters; unless you are URM or first generation, the stats are insanely good to the point that it is hard to tell the difference between some of the fake reject posts (created a biotech startup; created most popular smartphone app etc…) and the real ones that are rejected.
@anon145 - you think there are fake reject posts?

Hey guys. Yes, I called twice and the first time the lady said she had no information. The second woman i spoke to was very kind and told me information that I didn’t expect her to tell me. She said 15th or 16th and not the week of the 21st. I’m being completely truthful and I won’t get anything by lying. Best of luck to all!

- They probably wouldn't get so many calls if they just announced a date.
- Everyone calling and asking "when" isn't helping either. In past years an email goes out at least a week in advance. I'm sure the release date will be on college confidential soon.
