@fretfulmother Just rejection - no deferred. My friend thought because of his low SAT score ( 2100 ), he received decision sooner than others.

GOOD LORD what is this madness??? The 18th??? I don’t think I can handle it. Also regarding @azwu331 's question about how we’ll check decisions, I saw someone on the Harvard thread saying they’ll turn all the lights off and play the Moonlight Sonata in the background. That sounds like a pretty great plan, if you ask me.

Just called again. I was told “some time by the end of next week.” This sucks.
When will we find out a more specific decision date than the ever-vague “mid-December?”

seems like announcing decisions on a Friday at 5 is the most humane time

@52balletvieta no I haven’t received any email. I think once they finalize the date, then they’ll send out emails.
wow next week Friday? part of me is glad that I don’t have to go back to school since it’s winter break… (so I can mope about my deferral or rejection) but part of me is getting impatient because I just want to get this over withT.T ahhh
How does Princeton calculate GPA. I read that 11000 of 14000 applicants overall (scea and rd) have a 4.0. Does that mean that they never got a B in their entire life, or is that just weighted. Also, does Princeton only count core courses, cause I’m fretting over the B+ i got in physical education freshman year. Otherwise, I would have a 4.0
