Is anyone else getting a “Forbidden - you don’ have permission to access / on this server” message when you try to log on to the Application Tracking website? I’ve been getting that message since about 1:00 this afternoon.
@skotti I can still log on the Application Tracking portal fine.
@jumbletumbles my DD applied to 2 other public schools EA and 2 RD. If she gets in, she won’t apply to any others.

Yes, the username and password are saved on my computer, and like many of you, I’ve been checking numerous times a day for a week now, to see if anything new is added. Early this afternoon, I got that weird “Forbidden” message. My DS tried to log on from his computer, and got the same message. It won’t even let me go to the sign on page, to try to type in username and password again manually. How strange is that??
Been reading through Harvard’s thread. It’s preparing me for next week.

I have a question…I submitted my financial aid application earlier this month (I didn’t realize that they wanted it on Nov 1), but I haven’t mailed my parents’ tax forms (they’re really serious about confidentiality and stuff like that and think it’s odd to send it now when I may very well be rejected). I called the financial aid office and asked and the lady said since the admissions office and the financial aid office were separate, it was okay if they received the tax forms after the early admission decision date (hopefully within the next week!). I’m just worried about my chances being changed because I didn’t send tax forms…Does anyone have a similar experience?
Ok, now the Tracking System is letting me back on. That was so strange, and really had me worried. I feel better now.
did anyone get an email? I’m a little confused because my application was complete but I haven’t been notified as the portal message states ~:>
I think they’ll send an email when they decide when the decision day is @morrisk
the status portal appears to change at midnight the past couple of days so maybe midnight tonight they will release the decision date for next week
@morrisk I think they’re talking about the emails that went out at the very beginning, when you submitted your application. There’s a series of a couple that I got:
- We have received your registration for access to Princeton's Application Tracking System...
- Princeton University has received your application and has opened a file for you...
- Your application for admission to Princeton University is complete, and we look forward to reviewing it.
The first two came the day after I submitted my application and the last one came out one day after that, I think because my second recommendation had not been uploaded at that point. If you’re looking for a recent message I don’t think you’ll find anything.

Message had changed yesterday to the one many mentioned about not being able to see checklist. It changed again today, to something similar but def different. I guess they are tweaking as they prepare for the reveal.
princeton scea applicant here. freaking out. big time.
Question - does anyone think that they would just release decisions with no notification? Personally, I would prefer that, as the anxiety just keeps building and I think it will be even worse when/if I know the release date…
