Monday is going to be painful… Though I’m a cyber school student with an extremely flexible schedule, and my community college courses will be over by then, so I will probably work ahead over the weekend and do nothing on Monday.

based on past years, i’m pretty sure the 3pm time is subject to delays. A few years ago my sibling’s decision came like 2 hours late, so just don’t expect it to be released right at 3

Yeah, I’m sure the server will be overwhelmed, the site will crash, the page will just keep reloading, etc, for a good few hours. I might not check until like 5 to save myself the heartache of constant refreshing.

@raptor2000 & emeraldEvi: you guys are probably right, but at least after 3 you can hope to see something other than “your application is complete” on the application tracker if you manage to get into your account.

So does Princeton send us an email with a link, or do we just log into the application tracker after 3?

i believe they will email us a link.

@KeDIX,

I don’t think it would matter whether or not you get an email. You can log onto the portal regardless.

@raptor: Thanks!

If I do not get my email at 3:00, I will probably be refreshing constantly!

This week is going by so slowly. I can’t take my mind off of the decision and cannot make it till Monday. 6 more days seem like 6 years at this moment. Anyone else the same way?

I have a lot of school work/college apps left to do but my mind still keeps drifting to Monday. Sunday night and Monday morning will be the worst…

How many applicants were deferred last year for SCEA? and how many were rejected?

Sunday night=No sleep :/

I need to focus on finals but I just need to knoww

Are you guys going to open the decision letter at 3 right away? I think I’m going to wait until I’m fully prepared. Plus, I’m still in school by then so…I’ll probably open it at around 6

Hey future Princeton people :)

I’m just visiting from the Harvard sub-forum (where we’re freaking out even more than people in this thread, if you can imagine!), and I just wanted to extend my sympathies to my lovely fellow Ivy applicants.

Good luck to you all! :p

I personally think it’s sadistic for colleges to post decisions online during “dead week” (who does that?). That said, I couldn’t wait any longer!

What’s “dead week”? The colleges have posted their EA/ED decisions this week for decades. Nothing new about it, joggerboy.

What’s new is the mutual admiration societ where EA/ED applicants jointly freak out online.

@T26E4
I don’t think jogger was trying to suggest that there is anything new about when colleges are posting their EA/ED decisions.
This is what dead week is: [Dead week - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Revision week - Wikipedia)

My finals aren’t until end of January…is that weird? I guess my mid-year reports won’t be sent out for a while.

@Spool
I think you’re fine. My finals are in mid-January.
