Princeton SCEA Hopefuls 2018

@spoolman Im not conjecturing that they will release decisions in November. Im asking about when they release the date that they will subsequently release decisions on

The teens of December until the 24th, is around the time they are out usually, I think. There’s no official date.

I hope they don’t give out decisions on the 23rd of December. A rejection letter would be a terrible Christmas present… If they gave them out on the 15th or so, there would be some time to recover.

No, not the 15th. That’s my birthday.

@stanfordwannabee My bad, read your post wrong. Sorry

Sorry sparkle, how about the 17th?

That’s better. That way I can have my birthday without knowing and time to recover before Christmas.

lol. um. i haven’t received an email from them for an interview yet. i know that this is all a “random” process but i live in nj so i sorta expected to be contacted sooner. plus, they haven’t replied to my emails for about 3 days now :frowning: what is this…is this supposed to imply something…

Neither have I. I’m looking forward to the interview though! I don’t think that they’ve even really looked at the apps yet, is that correct? Anyway, I doubt that it would be implying anything. I’m sure they are getting tons of mail and it is hard for them to keep up.

Ok thanks  I hope youre right!

They have been responding to my emails. That is odd. They sent me two emails about interviews. One says that one man will contact me. One says that a different man will contact me. I do not know what that means.

@Kedix : "I do not know what that means. " It means someone is confused. Email both senders back and tell them of the duplication. Let them decide which will actually interview you.

@Cheezit: of course they’ve been reading through the apps already. The EA decision process is hyper-compressed.

I got an interview scheduled today. But, I still haven’t received replies from them regarding different things. They’re probably really busy.

Oh, that means you’re one of the lucky Triple Interviews.
I say triple because after these first two interviews you will probably be interviewed by Eisgruber next (over skype).

Hahaha well I just emailed Princeton back to let them know that they accidentally assigned two people to me.

I just got emailed by the guy who’s supposed to interview me. Yay!

But what is this triple interview? I’ve never heard of it…

@gutsandglory, I think the triple interview thing was a joke.
Has anyone given any thought as to what he/she is going to make his/her Facebook status if he/she gets accepted?

Haha I’m not normally one to brag about my accomplishments, but I think that if I did get into Princeton I would post about in on Facebook.

Does anybody know where the admissions officers would be in the application process by this point? Do you think every application has been read at least once by now?

ked: i get that this is a nerve wracking time – but do you think wondering about the exact progression of the apps is something constructive to worry/think about? Who knows? And even if you did know, what diff does it make? You should be enjoying your senior year – not fretting over small details that are out of your ken and control. Just some friendly advice.

And as for a Facebook post about your admission decision I think many people would post where they were admitted!
