I’m having a bit of a dilemma in choosing my early application plan and hoping someone could give some advice. I have been closely debating applying early to either Brown or Princeton and began thinking that I slightly preferred Brown’s atmosphere. However, I was then invited to the Princeton Creative Arts and Humanities Symposium, which I know can increase one’s chances of admission at Princeton. Would this be worth re-evaluating my early plan, as I truly do like the two schools almost equally? And would Brown be impressed at all by my being selected for the Symposium? At this point, given the choice between applying to two great schools, I just want to be as strategic as possible. Thanks!
I don’t know anything about the symposium or who other than you might care about your attending it, but unless you’re 100% sure that you want to go to Brown, do NOT apply ED.
