In the Princeton supplement - why Princeton Engineering, I mentioned a microscope developed at Princeton towards the end of the essay.

The problem is, I forgot to mention, the microscope invented 'at Princeton'!! frankly it was three years ago, so i dont think they might remeber better There was also a typo in the sentence. It currently looks like -
"The fact that engineers had spent four years developing a modern of microscope lens and have sent their invention to their first customers gives me hope."

A last minute addition - I even forgot to write a modern 'version' of...

Should I mail them about these 2 minor errors, apologizing about them?
Or just let it be. Please advise.

Really, don’t email them. Typos don’t help but they aren’t lethal, I promise you. I made two typos in my commonapp essay and one in my supplement and I still got into Stanford. As long as the rest of your application is up to snuff, they’re not going to reject you for a typo.

But shouldn’t I just send a clarification email?
Since, the microscope looks totally out of place there unless I relate it to princeton.

If you sent an essay revision they’d probably add it to your file, I doubt they’d hold it against you.

Is an essay revision in part or complete?
If it is complete, an essay revision just for one sentence?

And how will send this revision, if I may ask?

*can the essay revision be in part or should it be complete?
*I

Oh god, I really need to review before I post. XD

Even if you have other reasons to follow up after submitting your app to a school, using follow on communication to correct small errors like this won’t help to your chances. An essay revision isn’t a good idea here.

It is not in your best interest to call attention to these minor issues in what was otherwise, presumably, a fine application. Correcting these minor points will only draw the adcom’s attention to flaws rather than directing attention to the things you want them to recognize and remember about you.
