MIT, Stanford, UChicago, Caltech
not expecting anything from the first two though… AIME, USNCO, and USAPhO don’t seem to faze them at all…

@pleaseprinceton: sorry I didn’t realize someone else had that username. But we are all just sitting here thinking “please please”

I am ready for a rejection but I would be shocked to get flat out denied. Realistically, I am thinking I will be deferred. Only in my dreams do I receive acceptance letters (literally)

I think they send it out online tomorrow but it could take a week to arrive in the mail

I’m applying to (if I get deferred/rejection) MIT, Cornell, Yale, RPI, and U of Maryland: College Park

All of them are wonderful, and even though Princeton is #1 for me, it wouldn’t be the end of the world if I didn’t get accepted.

Yupp… we all know what tomorrow is…payday might as well try to get my mind off of this lol

Why do I keep getting my hopes up every now and then even though I know for sure I’ll get deferred?

Stupid brain >.<

And ahh that would stink to find out online you got deferred/rejected and then have it come in the mail a week later. haha

My contingency schools are Boston University, Northeastern University, American University, and Stony Brook University if I don’t get into Princeton tomorrow. Of course, that means another weekend of college application supplements, but whatever. Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

Okay… so what will you guys do upon seeing your decision?

Accepted: Stare at screen in shock, email counselor & teachers, tell every1
Deferred: Stare at screen in shock, pretend like its no big deal, & hope for the best
Rejected: Stare at screen in shock, and try to console myself by believing that Princeton just wasn’t for me

@BenLeeWhorf: while your enthusiasm is understandable, don’t you want Harvard for yourself? hopefully its not just to rub in others faces

Tomorrow 4:00 pm:
-stares at computer and is unable to check status for an unbearable amount of time-
if I manage to actually look at my results::
Accepted: stone like position for 1 minute. Proceeds to jump for joy
Deferred: nods head in understanding
Rejected: stone like position for 1 minute. Proceeds to work on application for community college

Accepted: detonate a Tsar Bomba above my city. Biggest firecracker ever
Deferred: detonate a Tsar Bomba above my city. Duh, winning.
Rejected: detonate a Tsar Bomba above Princeton. ← biwinning?

nah most likely i won’t react in any extraordinary way

As for the email time thing, so far on this thread there have been more 38’s than either 36’s and 39’s. So does this mean 38’s are the deferrals?

^
That’s what I fear… But there are more than 5 times.

are u kidding me? LOL the email time has nothing to do with acceptance or deferrals or anything. I learned however that this type of thinking has something to do with human psychology; we’re always trying to find explanations for events that sometimes are simply unexplainable and random. I believe there is no correlation

But other than 36, 38, 39 each of the other two has only appeared once on here…so they may be delayed 36 and 39’s?

^Nahhhh I had like 37 or sumthin…doesn’t really matter

We can dance the dougie it 'yall get in! Even if you don’t, we can still dougie! That’s the great thing about the dougie! :D

Will you teach me how to dougie?

Who’s not sleeping tonight?!

@zaza94, I haven’t slept for the past week…
post 600, thats whats up
