Does anyone have the portal link that you will sign into on Wednesday? I tried the “admitted” portal and got the 403 error too.
I have been lurking on the Cornell and Harvard threads since my DD applied to those RD. Cornell decisions came out tonight. Great to see the excitement!!!
https://apply.princeton.edu/account/login?r=https%3a%2f%2fapply.princeton.edu%2fapply%2fstatus this is the portal link
I would not look into the 403 error thing at all. It is probably just blocked for everyone before the decisions are released to prevent anyone from knowing anything early.
@Kelvin82 Thank you!
When I access the portal, it takes me to my Application Status, not a 403 error, so the page probably means nothing.
edit: never mind it gives me the 403 error
@lagann2022 did you try this link? https://apply.princeton.edu/account/login?r=https://apply.princeton.edu/portal/admitted
@throwawayok yeah I think so, but now it’s giving me the 403 error. I probably messed up initially, sorry
@lagann2022 all good, just checking
Hi everyone. My friend just told me I cannot apply any ED schools while I’m applying to EA Princeton. Is this true? and do ivy league schools share applicant’s info together?
not getting any 403 error
@Vanpersie7 if you applied EA to Princeton, the only other early you can do is EA to public schools, definitely no EDs
What do you see on the page @orgooo
How nervous are you guys so far?
I’m honestly not feeling anything right now. I’m trying to keep my expectations low as possible so that a rejection/deferral will be neutral and an acceptance will be tears of joy.
@Amduseus trying my best to keep my mind off of it but I see Princeton everywhere??? I went to Home Depot and there was literally a big Princeton flag… hard not to think of stuff like that as a sign
I drive by a subdivision every day that is named Princeton (something), and I blow a kiss to it every time… Yeah, I know that is crazy, but we as Princeton hopefuls do what we gotta do to get in!
Yeah, I honestly cant relate to the nerves or anxiety either. Maybe that is because I have low expectations, or maybe it is because Princeton isn’t necessarily the university I am dead-set on.
For the most part, I’ve kept my expectations very low… but occasionally, I fall into the trap where I begin to get overly optimistic and must quickly bring myself back down with thoughts of my inevitable deferment.
@orgooo it could be a sign that you live near the university!
@university2022 haha that’s so true, I need to remind myself of that when I go to school and see 5 different people in Princeton gear
