Today is a day of celebration regardless of the outcome. There is no judgement day. This does not judge you in any way shape or form. Each and everyone of you should celebrate your hard work and accomplishments. Think of the small number of applications that are received for EA/ED, and you are one of them. That is something to be extremely proud of. I applaud and admire each and everyone of you for your perseverance and determination.
I am sure of one thing: Princeton is not the only amazing school you applied to, therefore any school that accepts you, will be a great choice and an equally amazing journey for you.
Just a reminder: to potentially put this question to rest, when decisions are out, post your decision and if you got the PFAA email/Q1 grades request/both. Maybe then we’ll get an answer!
@Hellokitty13 I’m about done with brown and half way into the columbia supplement, got about 5 more after that, but I’m tackling the longer more personally challenging supplements first. These are only for the 1st deadline, so I’m really pushing it with my schedule.
Biological and chemical engineering…I found this thread just today and well I’m not very sure how to explain how I feel about reading everyone’s stats lol…I’m also going to be in class when the decisions come out and I barely slept last night. SO NERVOUS but good luck to everyone
lmao my mom kinda made me (and my twin brother) apply cuz she went there, but there’s literally no chance we’ll get in. She’s annoyingly hopeful, though…I mean I see you guys with near-perfect GPAs throughout all of high school, and I’m honestly nowhere close. And when I see people with 3.98 UW/4.0 GPAs getting rejected!!! I did very well Jr. Year and have done quite well so far this year, but seriously, my Freshman grades were meh, and my Sophomore grades were only a bit better. I’ve taken the most rigorous courses available, but I just can’t see myself being accepted, maybe deferral as legacy pity/appeasement.
One of my friends applied to harvard SCEA and she got deferred she’s right above me in terms of rank with a 4.6 GPA approximately but a 1400 SAT…I know this doesn’t have anything to do with princeton really but it’s also an ivy so I’m kinda freaking out lol
My DD is taking mid terms today. Like all of you she is hopeful but realistic. I’m buying lottery tickets today so maybe if we don’t win the lottery and get into princeton we might win mega millions. Lol. Good luck to everyone. Remember to be kind to your parents. We are only trying to help.
