Hi everyone. I was given an OV to Princeton for women’s openweight rowing. Does anyone know about how many rowers are given OVs to Princeton, or how many people that take visits are offered likely letters? I know nobody can say for certain, I am just looking for a sense of whether they give way more visits than spots, or whether they are more selective in who they give visits to. Thanks!
My son was a varsity athlete at Princeton, although not rowing. I don’t know the percentage of students who are offered likely letters, but these are typically given to recruits who are highly sought after by other colleges. I would suggest that rather than being based on a hard number, instead it pertains to how highly ranked the recruit is.
Sorry I don’t know the answer to your question, but you may want to ask in the Athletic Recruit forum here on CC. There are several parents who might know.
