G-town SFS (early action, decision w/e it's called)
Princeton
Harvard
Columbia
Yale
Cornell
UPenn <not wharton="">
MIT <i figured="" that="" my="" non-science="" background="" would="" be="" an="" advantage?="">
Brown</not>
<i figured="" that="" my="" non-science="" background="" would="" be="" an="" advantage?="">

You already know that your stats are appropriate. That’s why you’re considering them.

What’s your safety?

rutgers. 10char.

BUMP. 10char.

If you’re looking for a specific percentage, you’re not going to get it.

If you’re looking for an obvious, “You have a great chance!” there it is.

I agree with powerbomb. As long as your essays are decent, I’d be surprised if you didn’t get into any of the ivies, but you never know.

ps-I have the exact same SAT score as you. Weird…but not really I guess considering how many people take the SAT :)

all mid reaches except georgetown columbia and brown, which are probably low reaches

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1022392-chance-me-stanford-ea-one-last-time.html</a></p>

Very strong chances at all those schools…good luck!

how do you do so well on the cr ?! goodness

Moving on to your test scores:
GPA : 98.665 weighted, 92.466 unweighted
-This number is relatively average when compared with other applicants to your list of schools, but provides a competitive chance nonetheless
Rank: 12/385
-Outstanding ranking (I am using the literal definition of the word, by the way); ranking is always a good indicator of your academic ability, providing a measurement relative to peers
SAT - 2360 (800CR, 770M, 790W)
-Is this superscore? If not, very competitive score. If so, slightly less prestigious, yet still impressive.
ACT - 34 (I’m not sending this one in, so no breakdown)
SAT II - USHistory (800), MathII (800) and Biology (800) the last two are predictions based on practice tests
-There is no comment to be made regarding the first score, but a tip for the latter two: never take projected scores for granted. Always allow a margin for error.
AP Scores (indicates self-study)
-APUSH 5
-LANG 5
-CALC 5
-PSYCH 5
-ENVIRO 5
-COMPGOV 5*
-MICRO 3*
-MACRO 2*
-With the exception of Micro and Macro, seeing as the scores are perfect, no reason not to inclucde them. All in all, the scores show promise as a student, not necessarily promise as a specialist in either of the above fields of occupation, so keep that in mind.

As for your grades in school, solid performance is evident, and I am inclined to assume that you studied with much the same methods throughout your years in high school, so be sure to pronounce your academic consistency (whether it be by talent or effort), as it is a standard of a high achiever.

Regarding EC’s, I perceive a rather stable trend throughout, all relating back to these two themes:
-leadership/conservation
-math
so I feel that your appearance in that area is appealing; whether your involvement in those activities are for your personal enlightenment or impressing admissions, the latter would not be very likely in an admissions officer’s mind.

Pertaining to your other activities, out of school, I have few constructive comments. First of all, compliments on maintaining a related strain of activities, for the most part. You seem to be trying to show philanthropy with most of them, a good characteristic to express. However, I might suggest relocating the editor and college hsitory courses to a different subcategory on the application, or removing them, though I understand you would most likely want to prioritize them. Also, the dance should be separated into a sports category, so that you don’t express yourself as a ‘nerd’.

Finally, as the disciplinary issues seem to be very inconsequential, you can most certainly neglect to mention those even if they’re on your record, as college admissions over any other groups realize that “no one is perfect”, and apply that foundational understanding to every application they review, not judging unless the issues are serious (ie. any class of felony as opposed to an infraction), so you are fine in that regard.

And of course, projected chances. A note to any individual who may attempt to refute me: These are merely the possibilities as they exist in my mind, reinforced by naught but my previous knowledge.

G-town SFS (early action, decision w/e it’s called)-56%
Princeton-23%
Harvard-15%
Columbia-25%
Yale-25%
Cornell-35%
UPenn <not wharton=“”>-35%
MIT-25% (A non-science background would actually decrease your chances here)
Brown-20%</not>

Lol a non science background applying to a science school ??? I believe your logic is faulty here

^hey hey hey, its possible. there’s a really hot guy there that’s kinda a large part of my motivation to go there; i can admit my shallow reasons, but remember millancad? she was a very humanities-oriented person and guess where she is now? mit.

You honestly have a really good shot at getting into all of the schools on your list lol. With great essays, it just comes down to the luck of the draw. Good luck :)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1027620-brown-ed-chances-i-chance-back.html</a></p>

and was accepted to a few more. I talked to the admissions office and they’ve told me that there’s been a trend these days to select against native americans at this (and other colleges). Basically schools have been coming under fire for their affirmative action policies so they’re going to try to reduce the number of native Americans (and African Americans and pacific islanders) coming into the school pretty significantly.

Otherwise it looks like you have a good chance at at least one of those schools.

^ lololol not native american… umm I’m asian-indian.

you go to an ivy? hm.
