Hey CC,

I have some questions.

I have some money left in my Cal 1 card from last semester (spring- around $10). I used that money fro printing. What happens to that money? Does it roll over?
If I go back to Berkeley in a week, can I use it or do I have to wait for the Fall? ( I haven't gone back to Berkeley since school finished, but Im planning on going next week).

Thanks!!

It should be there still. I think it only expires when you use it all or if you graduate. Correct me if I am wrong.

It should still be there, I just printed stuff last week from my card. Don’t worry :)

Thanks both of you!

Really appreciate it.

How do you print using your Cal1Card? I tried printing on the second floor of Doe with the labeled computers but it wasn’t working.

KevRus,

I usually go to the computer labs, VLSB or Moffitt. First, you have to activate your account with those computers and then you can start printing. The only 2 times I had to print from Doe, I bought a “printing” card.

I hope I helped.

sorry to hijack this thread, but how does printing charges work at Cal? Is it a certain amount of money per page, etcetc.

With money in your Cal1 Card, you pay 6 cents per page or 9 pages double sided instead of the 12 cents that would cost for 2 pages.

If you do not have money in your card, you need to buy a copy card, which is $1 and you have to add money to it. Printing with that card costs 13 cents per page. (look under printing)

So, I recommend you to put money in your Cal 1 Card
