Hi, I was wondering if many professors accept homework and other assignments electronically? Also, how many public printers are at BU and where are they located? Finally, would you reccomend purchasing a printer for private dorm use? Thanks!

I know that you are only allowed 100 free printed pages per semester until they start charging you. For some courses that many people have to take, like CAS WR100 and WR150, that’s not very much.

Someone else will have to answer the electronic submissions part. Personally, I just said screw it and bought my own printer. You can get them for as low as like $40, extra ink for like $20, and paper for a few more dollars.

personal printers are kind of convenient, kind of not
the ink does get expensive, but i mean if you don’t care for $, there’s still the problem of that they do take up space (even if minimal)

certain colleges get more than the standard 100 quota (i believei t’s 200 now?)
like at ENG, you get 1000 or something per semester
SMG is like 1000 too i believe

and you really don’t print htat much unless you’re printing out a textbook
many professors accept digital copies of work, such as my writing professor who understood the quota can get eaten up quickly if we had to print everything out
