@Theben1818 Being accepted is still awesome, especially for engineering! Congrats!

I there is no link to a decision in my portal page at all. It has a submitted date of 11/1, and a completed date of 1/28 (today) Is anybody else seeing this?

look down the page towards the bottom…I missed it the first time. It is right below application status sections: Decision Status: Available beginning 1/28/2014 4:45:00 PM

Your application decision is now available online

Teen bodybuilder, glad you definitely submitted. Check again later tonight, but do call tomorrow. I know it’s really stressful not to know. It is possible decisions are going out in waves.

Oh yeah… Son accepted, and to business school. Yippee!

yes i have looked at the bottom of the page, and logged out and logged back in repeatedly (too many times). i checked the page against a snapshot sent by a friend, and I am definitely missing the link. Everybody at my school has gotten their decision by now, so i hope the decisions aren’t coming out in waves by geography.

glad to hear that 1214mom!!!

Yeah I’m just gonna log off and check before I go to bed, no use refreshing every 2 minutes. I’ve already been accepted to my #1 (pending on visit/open house), so it’s not like my world would end if something went wrong, though, I would love to have UMD as an option, especially if I get in honors/scholars.

Tbb… It’s above where it says application for reenrollment on the page.

Tbb…I think you are clicking on freshman application tab

Bigbooklover, congrats to you too. Honors at UMD is a really big deal. I hope money follows.

I wish I could post a screenshot but it’s not there.

It goes from

to

I’ve ctrl+F’d “decision” and it gets no hits. From what I take it, the decisions are in between these sections. I have nothing between them.

1214Mom…Thank you so much…I am now more nervous about getting enough merit aid to go UMD…hopefully we will hear soon

@ cohen2000 - you said, <many scholars="" students="" get="" merit="" aid,="" and="" many="" honors="" don’t.=""> so why do you think that is? I thought the Honors level was higher (stat-wise) than Scholars. </many>

@ jkeill - so how’d your kid do? I’ve seen your comments but you didn’t mention your own situation?

Good news or bad, hoping everyone can relax now that the information is mostly available (sorry for those who don’t have a notification).

My son was accepted to College of Letters and Sciences. I don’t see anything about Honors or Scholars though. Does this mean there is no way he will get a Merit scholarship? I’m actually surprised he didn’t receive either - strong stats - strong extracurriculars

@ appProblems - is it possible that since you didn’t submit until Nov. 1 that you’re in the Reg decision pool?

I got an offer for Spring admission and a Fall waitlist. Can someone please tell me the chance of me being admitted of the waitlist and what that means in terms of housing. Thank you.

That would extremely unusual if it were the case, because the meaning of the deadline for every other college was that it was supposed to be submitted by 11:59 the day of the deadline. I’m sure there are people who received decisions today that submitted their app on the 1st.
