Hey guys!

I have priority number 559 and I was wondering if you guys think I could get into Broward Hall. Can anyone who lives/lived in Broward tell me what their priority number was? Thanks in advance!

the first thousand students are usually guaranteed their top choice so most likely.

No, they really aren’t. There are no buildings that hold 1000+ students, so it is physically impossible for 1000 students to be “guaranteed” their top choice.
In reality, no one is guaranteed anything; in theory, returning residents could take up all of the spots in a specific building (though it likely won’t happen).

559 will probably be borderline for Broward. I know (weirdly enough) several people that live there even as returning residents, which makes getting in even more difficult. I think ultimately you’ll probably be okay, but just in case I’d make sure that your second choice is one that you’d also like.
