Priority Review (Early Notification)

D received acceptance in Illinois!

Now the parents have to wait until Merit and FA details come through

not sure who is more nervous.

Good luck to all

^ what was the date on the letter?

Hey everyone! Glad to share that I was accepted! Goodluck to everyone else and very good chance I will be heading there this fall!

MELIORA

will they be updating our accounts online soon? or is it all through the mail?

I am going to drink and skip work until the letter comes. Should have started 3 days ago. I want to say something funny about the term “PRIORITY Review” but I can’t think of anything.

D’s acceptance letter (yeah!) received today in Maryland. Letter is dated Feb. 15.

S’s acceptance letter postmarked 2/15 rec’d in NY tues or wed.

Nothing received yet in CT…

My acceptance letter was postmarked on Presidents Day and got here today
I think they should post online too

Accepted yesterday in MA.

If your application was completed by December 1st, if you checked the “Priority Review” box on the application supplement, and if you did not apply to one of our Combined-Admissions Programs (REMS, GEAR, GRADE), then you can be confident that your letter is en route to the address that you provided us with.

A vast majority of these letters were sent on Friday, February 15th. To be clear, if your MyRoc account indicates that you are a Priority Review applicant, your letter is out the door and should arrive very soon.

If you have any concerns, you are more than welcome to call our Admissions Office at 585-275-3221. Our Admissions Counselors can confirm that (a) your letter has indeed been sent and (b) that it went to the appropriate address. We are usually hesitant to give decisions over the phone, but we are absolutely willing to help you out.

Hopefully this phone call will ease your anxiety!

Why would I get an email about idoc if I was rejected? Or am I automatically Deffered or accepted because I got it?

TSOcash,

If we did GEAR and our application status on myRoc was on the last stage for quite some time now, should we expect a decision fairly soon as well? Thanks for all of the information.

I applied and got ACCEPTED! Also am a finalist of Renaissance and Global Scholarship.

Got the invitation letter today by FedEx…  :D

oooooooooooooooooh ah yaaaaah

@moon05 did you receive your notification that you were a Renaissance & Global Scholarship finalist with your acceptance letter? I already received my acceptance letter and I’m holding on to slim hope that I am a finalist as well.

I called today and found out that NOT all the students who applied priority review have indeed had their letter mailed. Apparently there was some glitch in the system, and some people had a file made for both Priority Review and Regular Decision.

So, while I normally advocate patience, if you really should have gotten a letter by now but haven’t yet, give them a call.

Son accepted today here in Indiana
Letter dated 2/15 Postmark 2/18
Congrats to all accepted… it seemed like a long week to wait… hopefully other acceptances are still looming

@finalchild and everyone else still waiting

I called the admissions office today (after the mail came void of a letter), and they said that they’ve gotten multiple reports of people in MA, NH, and VT still waiting for letters. We’re not alone in this wait. I was told we should have them in the next day or two if we don’t have them already. Soon…

Got mine today. Letter dated the 15th, postmarked the 18th. Very nice letter, but I still would have appreciated knowing online first. Many schools do an online form letter and then personalized mail package which I really like.

@ZMCIngus,

GEAR applicants were bumped into the Regular Decision pool. (On Rochester’s application supplement, you could only choose one or the other, GEAR or Priority Review.)

All GEAR applicants will receive their letters by April 1st at the latest.
