If I go Private Certified for housing, is the meal plan limited to the hall I choose? This might be a stupid question but I know with University Housing you can eat at any of their halls.

Yes, with PCH, the meal plan only applies to that PCH, but they have options to “pack a lunch”, if you can’t get back to eat in between classes.

Yea thats true. But it hasnt been a problem for me at all this year. I live in bromley and it worked out fine.

@aklauss17 how is the food at bromley? ive heard the horror stories, but do you find it inedible? what is an average meal like? do you have options or is it more limiting

The food pretty much sucks haha. But in all honesty, its tolerable. Theres 2 lines of food they have everyday and a panini bar and a salad bar. One food line always has hamburgers, chicken breasts, hot dogs, fries etc. The other line changes day to day. For example, today was tacos and tomorrow on the menu is roast beef cheddar melts (whatever the hell that means. Definitely getting a burger tomorrow lol). I mean, we always complain about how much the food sucks, and it really does, but it is someone tolerable. Brom is known for having really bad food, and it may seem that with the panini bar salad bar and 2 food lines it can’t be that bad, but it is. However, if I could redo freshman year, I would choose to stay at bromley again.

If you wanna check the food menu day to day go to bromleyhall . com and click on “mybromley” and you can see what the menu looks like…

is it the quality of the food that is bad? what makes it “pretty much suck”?

It’s cafeteria food. When you make scrambled eggs for yourself at home, the eggs are nice and fluffy (if you can cook). When you get served scrambled eggs from a huge cafeteria pan of scrambled eggs filled 30 minutes before, they’re anything but fluffy, but still edible (thus they, pretty much suck, but not totally).

^exactly. Also, its not that it sucks so much because of the repetitiveness, but just the lack of flavor. The first couple months weren’t bad. But after that everything just seems to lose its flavor…

Does anyone know how the food is at Presby?
