<p>It depends on what you mean by “private” housing? Are you looking for an off-campus apartment that’s unaffliliated with UCLA or like a house? </p>
<p>I can only answer for an off campus apartment. You can find some that are relatively close that you can still walk to campus though, its pretty expensive so you’d probably want a roommate or three… Best places to look are around veteran, gayley and south of wilshire. There’s even a couple on tiverton and hilgard but they’re a little more expensive but on the upside they’re super close to ralphs and south campus.</p>
<p>By private housing I meant housing that isnt connected to UCLA (i.e. not the off-campus housing).</p>
