Hey! I know there are plenty of posts about different private housing, but I am still unable to get a clear picture of the differences between the four major private dorms.
I was not accepted into UW-Madison, so I am taking courses at MATC so I can transfer in. I want to live in a dorm-like atmosphere since I can't live in the public dorms.
I am very laid back, chill, and like to have fun; however, I am nothing like the typical "coastie". Don't get me wrong I have nothing against the coasties! I am from Milwaukee and am pretty down to earth.

Can you guys give me any recommendations on the most "down to earth" private dorms, but still fun? Or a brief definition of them all?

Here are the stereotypes I have heard, please give me a definition of each with any information you may have.
Statesider: Coasties, mostly jewish, rich, partying.
The Towers: Like Statesider but less social
Lucky101: Snobbish and rich
Regent101: Slightly boring, not much sense of community.
