Problem & Question

I received a mail from UoR Admissions Office stating that they have not received my Mid Year report. The report is included in the transcript. And a duly filled Mid Year report was also in the same sealed envelope. I have tried contacting the admissions office twice but have received no reply. Maybe UR Admissions could help me with the problem?

Now the question, a President of an aerospace organization wants to write a rec. for me but since he is currently traveling, he cannot send a hard copy. I was wondering if it would be fine if he emailed it and then follow up with the hard copy when he gets back?

Cheers!

I recieved the same email yesterday regarding my Midyear Report, and it freaked me out a little, since I know it was sent. A missing midyear report won't affect consideration for the finalist round of Richmond Scholars, will it? That would be awful since I know it was submitted...

Mine was sent along with my other parts which they have received. And its in the same transcript.

Ajay, Your file has been pulled and is under review to be certain we have the necessary credential. The person who will determine this is out of the office today, but will review your file on Monday and we will get back to you then. There is no reason to panic abou this. Your friend can just e-mail the letter of recommendation. There is no reason to also send a hard copy.

Kelliebm, without knowing who you are, I can't check your file. If you will PM me and let me know your name, I will check for you. Most of the time our message goes out at the same time your mid-year report is in the mail on its way to us. It will not impact Richmond Scholars selection in any way, so you can relax about that.

To others out there who've received the e-mail about a missing credential, please read the letter carefully and respond by e-mail to confirm that you are following up to have the materials sent. If you have done this, and the credential doesn't arrive, we will follow up with you again (usually by phone). If you do not respond to the e-mail, and the credential never arrives, we will NOT follow up and your file will be considered incomplete. If you really are interested in Richmond, you don't want to land in the incomplete drawer.

Thank You so much UR Admissions. :)

I absolutely love UoR. I was already at my school asking my Principal to recheck if he did send the mid year report!
