Problem with School

How would you convince your school that you want to take two AP classes?

Right now, I'm a freshman and had never taken any AP classes before but I do want to take rigorous classes next year. But, the problem is the school doesn't trust me enough. AP classes here are only offered ONLINE so since it's online they decided if I drop the class out of bad grade, it'll ruin their reputation. But, I promised not to!

They looked at my grades from eight grade and it was very bad. I requested for my middle school to take me out of their attendance record but they forgot! That's what they said! Since I went to visit my home country and my name for attendance was still there, my grades went down to Ds and Fs. But, I managed to get them all up to As and Bs by the end of the year. I guess that's what made them refuse to let me take 2 AP classes.

Another thing is that our school is only starting to offer AP classes next year again since they've stopped a few years ago. And they told me that I have junior year and senior year too. But, I have made plans for those years already!

I have been accepted to AP Biology. But, now I want to take AP US History too! I have even started reading about those subjects just to prepare. I really love science and history so I would love these classes.

HELP ME! :(

Try talking to the APUSH teacher personally, convince him/her you can do it, and together maybe you can get permission. I took three ap’s my sophomore year, and now a lot more sophomores have started to take more than one too (At my school the norm is taking only AP us government 10th grade.).

In a system like this, people do “things” to get “ahead”.

Bring more threads back from the grave, why doncha :P
