Hi!
I’m currently a high school student, and I’m hoping to attend a summer program. However, I do not know what career I’m going into, and therefore want a summer program that has a more generalized program of study or the option to study more than one subject. I’d prefer it to be in the Northeast, somewhere in MA or NY.
A bit about me: I currently attend a public school that’s academic standing somewhat resembles an intercity school. I take four AP courses and am planning on taking exams for 2, the AP Lang and a history, and I am in the top 5% of my class. I do not mind competitive programs. I’d prefer it to be achievable, though. I’m thinking about studying psychology in college, or perhaps law. I’m excellent at writing, but maths and sciences are not my specialty.
I’ve already applied to the BU Summer Challenge, but the reputation of that program is in debate and I’m suddenly less confident in it. It has what I’m looking for: it’s in Boston, two weeks long, with the ability to study two subjects. The only questionable aspects are the students and the program’s academic reputation.
