I was wondering if anyone knew of programs in digital media in Digital Media/Interactive Communications/Interactive Design that do not require a studio arts background and give out a reasonable amount of assistanceships or aid. I am a MIS undergraduate but have a good digital media portfolio and alot of experience working in digital media and webdesign.

I am probably looking at mid level program due to my gpa 3.65 cum (but a 3.9 junior year) and I will probably end up around 80 percentile for the GRE's.

I have found the top programs such as Carnegie Mellon and NYU in this field do not really offer much financial assistance and expect alot of work experience. I am also contemplating the multimedia dpt. of some art schools for an MFA, but am woried due to my lack of formal art training that they will turn me away.

So far I have found:
MSU - http://dmat.msu.edu/
Indiana U - http://www.informatics.indiana.edu/academics/hcid.asp
Ball State - https://www.bsu.edu/cim/storytelling/

All three of these programs look cool to me, but I was curious if you guys knew of any programs or had any suggestions?

thanks,
Dave
