I agree that the garments designed by Shantall and Aaron were both stunning. I too noticed Brandon’s jaw drop during the runway show.
I have also enjoyed almost all of Anna’s designs except for this challenge–did losing “Daddy” really throw her off that much or was the unconventional challenge not her cup of tea.
The competition is intensifying and it will be interesting to see how things play out.
Wow tough crowd–Real Housewives as models-- last night but I enjoyed watching the designers cheer for all the models/designs during the runway show. Agree with the losing designer–not sure what she was thinking.
Some of the housewives were more demanding than others. Interesting that the least demanding and most demanding were both in the bottom. I thought for what he was given to work with Shannon looked awesome.
I enjoyed the episode, although I (honestly) do not know who any of these women are. And I loved the hooting and howling as they came down the runway. Is that something that occurs during the “reunion” episodes? I’m ready for next week!
POSSIBLE SPOILERS: The losing look was pretty bad, and deserved to be sent home. I do wonder if the car accident created some PTSD that no one is addressing because their garments really did take a turn afterwards.
I think Cristina is cracking under the pressure, not just this challenge. She did openly discuss having had a “nervous breakdown” in fashion school, and Project Runway is probably 10x or more pressure. I like her a bit, so I hope she can pull it together.
Agree that Anna’s the last two garments were definitely not up to her previous performance. I thought the loss of her support from “Big Daddy” was the primary reason but I am sure the bus accident (which I had forgotten) is also a huge factor.
Really, just have to say I love this cast and also their love for each other. Really pleased with Chantel’s win again - her housewife did look fabulous. Aaron (?) is really getting ticked that he isn’t winning the challenges. Would do him well to be a tad bit more humble.
I also agree with who went home. Very sweet, a great designer - for any of the above reasons I think she just went off the track.
Really a fun episode. I have never watched ANY Housewives episodes - have to admit I might enjoy it for some trash tv!!! I also enjoyed the one who was so worried about her muffin top and dressing behind the screen!
I had originally predicted Christina, Prage, and Chasity as the final 3, but I’ve had to amend that, and now think Christina, Chantel, and Aaron might be the final 3. Chasity was doing well, but has seemed to slip. We’ll see, since it seems like I’m always surprised by the winner.
Even though Aaron did not win this challenge it looks to me that Gizelle wore his design on the recent Potomac reunion, aired in November. I doubt they mentioned the designer but I’m going to rewatch to double check. Wendy and Karen clearly did not.
I know none of these “housewives” but I have to say I thought that Wendy was not too kind to her designer from the get go. Clearly the designer has a bit of a language barrier but I don’t think Wendy said a firm NO to pants, did she??? And all the hoopla over the scarf. I don’t care how many degrees she has she seemed to have one in RUDE! (I think think all along though that the breast area was ill fitting).
Fortunately/Unfortunately, I know them all! I don’t think Wendy was very clear that she did not want pants, and it may have been confusing as she was wearing pants at that time.
I agree that dress did not fit well though, in my opinion, neither did the one she actually wore. It was typical reunion attire though.
Am I the only one who watched this week? Just watched tonight. Everyone seems nervous -
Fashion week so close!
Spoiler for this episode below….
Poor Aaron -
Eliminated on his bday! That jumpsuit was awful. I also didn’t really get Christina’s
Black and White number - didn’t really look like it took much talent.
We watched last week. I’m not a big Bones fan but actually liked his red outfit. I do think the right person won, and I do think Aaron deserved to be eliminated but was surprised the judges did it.
I thought they would keep him too, mainly because I thought he had more previous success than Coral. Also I didn’t get Coral’s outfit, ,whereas I feel like Aarons was better for the challenge, although it was a mess.
I guess my pondering if Aaron would be the “always a bridesmaid, never a bride” season winner has now been answered…
The jumpsuit was worse than almost anything I’d seen on the show to date, but I really liked the raincoat - it reminded me of something I had like it when I was a kid, it had a matching umbrella.
The competition is getting down to where it only takes one misstep to be eliminated, and unfortunately he made it.
Honestly none of the looks made me swoon. I miss swooning!
