Prom

Hi,

So here's the situation. I have a few close friends and thats it, and I don't know many girls. Of the girls that I know most of them are like a friendship relationship. I have never been involved with a serious girlfriend relationship.

So here's the problem. How do you guys start looking for who to take to the prom if you've never had a relationship with any before? What type of girls do you take to the prom. Worse comes to worse Im not sure what to do.

I know this girl that Ive been friend with but I only see her for like 30minutes each day and talk only in class and have never done anything outside of school. Is it wrong to ask her?

Im sounding and feeling desperate

not wrong.

go for it if you really want to and if you get rejected, it's nothing personal.

I'm a girl, and I think you should go for it. Though it might not seem like it, girls miss the days when guys used to ask us to prom. Most of my friends are looking to go with friends or even acquaintances; there doesn't have to be a romantic relationship between you, although it certainly is nice.

Good luck! :)

I agree with Helix. At my school there are lots of girls who would much rather go with a guy-even if they don't know eachother especially well-than alone/with a group because most of the group will have dates. As long as you're not a jerk (and she isn't either) it sounds like a good idea. good luck

hehehe no worries u know what u're in a good position cuz u can ask any gurl u want so embrace that but besides that i'm a gurl and i don't think it's right and traditional for the gurl to ask the guy but last year i went by myself and something bad happened to me but i'm a senior and it's ok going by yourself besides u might hav a better time w/o a date because you can dance with whoever you want but if a guy asks me i'm definatly going to say yes cuz it's prom!!!

That's the most messed up **** I have ever read...please learn how to type.

You should get her a nice small gift.

That is the longest sentence ever! (except for On the Road)

Yes, definitely get her a gift (and not something cheap like chocolate) but something that’ll make her think about you. Get to know her better but don’t try to follow her around all the time or anything like that.

okay--good advice. I still a few more months

i dont know about ur school, but at mine virtually eveyrone goes as friends and only a few are in an actual relationship

Hey I'm trying to prove a point besides this is a message board not an English class!!! ; P

yes but it is frustrating^^

If you never ask, the answer is always no. Remember that.

^ very good advice
