Prom

skigurl432 - i know what you're talking about...i went to homecoming with a guy that none of my friends knew so the whole night i felt like i had to "babysit" him. But, i would ask who ever you think you'd have a better time with b/c that's what matters...

yeah, i'll probably just go without a date, and with my friends instead, if i go at all. i'm having prom at the sears tower!

lol our prom's at a train station - but it's like newly constructed and it's supposed to be really pretty (train transport is to be disconnected for the prom or something so there wont be like trains wooshing past).
our theme is - a night out in paris - which totally contradicts our location.
I got a pretty yellow kneelength dress - it's strapless, uneven hem, really tight and gathered in the upperbody area. it looks more like a party dress lol. This is just my junior year so I want this one to be wild, full of parties (i think im going up to an after-after-after party) and I want my senior one to be like really memorable with the whole elegant long dress and stuff.

ours in the school gym like always and the juniors aren't telling us the theme yet. We did Together in Paris last year and it was pretty cool.

lol I am going to my girlfriend's prom in New York this May. I am also going to my own prom which is in a few weeks with a school friend, so twice the prom-age, so to speak

ours are at resorts =P stugo is awesome at wasting money on prom. last year they spent 47k LAME lol

and to think that my school had a paper shortage last year and none of the teachers could copy any papers....

lol, thats funny shrek. my school got this award for conserving the most electricty, which explains why we freeze our butts off during class.

Our prom is at this historical train station. It's a really nice, elegant place so we're happy that we got it.

I'm not completely sure what dress I'm going to get. I want a "big" dress, but definitely NOT the poofy ones w/ the netting. I want a dress that has a big bottom, 'cus it is prom, but I want the material to be satin (something smooth and elegant) and srunched up to add texture. Lol, man, why does that sound like a hair style? It's kind of hard to explain, but hopefully you guys (well, girls, haha) can picture what I'm saying. Think satiny, scrunched, elegant, but big.

Our prom colors are champagne, soft pink, and the color of a penny, so like brownish-copperish. We wanted to stay away from the "usual" prom colors and try something new. We're going for that refined, classy look, but we didn't want to do black and white.

I'm sorry if I went too far into detail and completely bored you guys, but I have to help plan it so I can't help but talk a lot about it. :-) What's going on for your guys' proms? I'd love to hear what plans you guys and everything.

my friend got really nice suit for 15 bucks from the goodwill store.

Wow, that's awesome. Getting dressed up can cost a lot of money. I was lucky at one dance since I didn't have to pay for anything. I borrowed a dress and my friend did my hair. It was nice.

BTW i think the original got mugged in that suit (which later became my friend's)

and we've seen cars with bullet holes (about 30 of them) pulling up to us and ask for directions.

i was sorta scared dude.

my prom sucked..... was at ritz and payed 90 bucks...
food like **** ...the only thing i liked was the bloody bread!!!!!

our prom is in Chelsea Piers. I don't know if I should go..-_- I don't have a partner...
